On 2 October 2025, an educational seminar entitled ‘Combating Violence Against Women’, prepared by the Hitit University Women and Family Issues Application and Research Centre (HÜKAM), was delivered to our students at our vocational school by Associate Professor Dr Arzu COMBA. The seminar, which was attended by the management, teaching staff and students of our vocational school, provided detailed information on violence, types of violence, the cycle of violence, the social, economic and societal consequences of violence against women, and the institutions and organisations that victims of violence can turn to.
